| Description: | Situated on the eastern edge of Bournemouth, on the southern shore of Christchurch Harbour within SSSI, local nature reserve, ancient monument, geological SSSI. Day Centre providing courses related to national curriculum, especially science, geography, history, PE, PSHE and citizenship. Site particularly good for studying contrasting habitats, prehistory, issued based geography, e.g. coastal protection, conservation management. Sailing, canoeing orienteering also available. Courses for community groups and general public during evenings, weekends and holidays. |
